Hello, my name is Jeremyah Yisrael Robinson. I reside in Starrett City, Brooklyn, New York. I am 16 as of April 8th 2022. I am a visual artist. I focus mostly on graphic design and sometimes on painting. I’ve been quite creative from the start, more in the form of architectural design. Leonardo da Vinci and Banksy are artists that inspire me. My design process consists of me pulling from something that inspires me and “modifying it” or just getting creative and bringing that creativity to a reality.

The Haitian revolution saw many enslaved people young and old banded together in order to rise against their enslaved and free themselves and their families. Friend or Foe every slave fought their best for their freedom. Three Voudon/Voodoo spirits Ayizan, Erzulie, and Papa Legba were involved in the success of the Saint Domingue revolt. In today’s time, many African Americans/ indigenous people have fallen victim to mass incarceration. Due to racism in our society’s past, many indigenous people/ people of color, especially African Americans, Asians, and Hispanic people have been shown the most hate. If the members of this revolution were to see what has come of the world they helped construct they would most likely cause another revolution against any other racist member of today’s society. The main cause of mass incarceration is the high amount of racist white citizens and cops. Karens as today’s generation calls them are women that always choose to cause problems. Whether it’s being racist to neighbors or people passing by or just causing problems over the smallest things. And cops will choose to arrest any black citizen that “looks suspicious” whether it’s in a store getting in a car or a black person taking care of someone of an opposite race. Our ancestors involved in the Haitian revolution had thrived on the help of three voodoo/Haitian spirits Ayizan, Erzulie, and Papa Legba. Both the imprisoned innocent and their families will call the help of Papa Legba to grant them access to Ayizan and Erzulie who will make their love and want to set the family member free even stronger and to Ayizan the ability to get enough money to bail out or pay for their family members freedom.
